7th and 8th Grade Science
I was born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where I graduated from Putnam City West High School. I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Vocational Home Economics and a minor in General Science.
I began teaching home economics at Cedarville my first year out of college. I taught home economics, coached the junior and senior high cheerleaders, sponsored the junior/senior class and sponsored the Future Homemakers of America. After 4 years, I stayed home to raise my 2 sons. When I returned to teaching full time it was in 7th and 8th grade science where I am still today and loving it!
I am married and have 2 married sons, both of which graduated from Cedarville Schools. We also have a black lab named "Boomer" and a famiy cat named "Kitty".
I love teaching! I have always wanted to be a teacher, even when I was a young child I would gather all of the neighborhood kids together and have school in our back yard. I love just about any activity that involves the outdoors; camping, swimming, and waterskiing. I love spending time with my family! My husband and I enjoy hiking and spelunking (exploring caves).
I am an active member of Cedarville First Assembly and sponsor the middle school Youth Alive chapter. My faith and relationship with Christ is an integral part of my life.
