CMS Parents/Guardians: CMS conducted a state required safety drill this morning, practicing our lockdown procedures. Students were made aware that this was a drill before hand. All students and staff did an amazing job this morning during our drill!

Parents/Guardians of 5th grade students: The field trip to the Medical College has been rescheduled to Thursday, May 22nd. If you have already filled out and turned in a permission form for your student, you do not have to fill out another one. We need an accurate head count of students attending the trip for food purposes, so please contact the CMS office in advance if your student will not be in attendance that day!

Our 6th graders traveled to Crystal Bridges: Museum of American Art on Wednesday! They completed the Writing on Walls tour where they learned to create stories from paintings and how to identify themes in art.

Parents/Guardians: Due to the tornado sirens alerting us of a possible weather threat, CMS students and staff followed our tornado procedures and took cover. The students and staff who attended the 6th grade field trip today arrived safely back on campus prior to the severe weather.

Parents/Guardians: There will be a brief parent meeting for all students who intend to play boys BASKETBALL for the 2025-26 school year. This will be held in the HS gym following the conclusion of the football meeting around 6:30. Coach Fuller can be contacted at dfuller@cedarvilleschools.org
